Planting Hope, Growing Resilience — One Garden, One Family
Haiti is enduring a deep humanitarian crisis that has left families struggling to meet even their most basic needs. In remote communities, many parents watch their children suffer from hunger and malnutrition — despite having access to cultivable land.
To address this urgent challenge, Haitian Support Connections (HSC) — a U.S.-based nonprofit committed to strengthening family and community resilience — has launched “Yon Jaden, Yon Fanmi” (One Garden, One Family), a pilot initiative designed to help Haitian families grow nutritious food, improve child health, and earn income from their land.
Each family will receive:
🌱 Seeds, tools, and fertilizers
👩🏾🌾 Hands-on guidance from local agronomists
🍽️ Training in sustainable food production and nutrition education
With $350, one family gains the foundation for self-reliance and resilience.
This pilot phase will fund 20 family gardens, generating critical data and community insights to guide an expansion reaching 200 families across Haiti’s South and North regions next year.
Your support will help transform empty land into nourishment — and hardship into hope — one garden, one family at a time.
